THE STUDIO :
Vivi Bellaish's studio is located in the artistic Noga district in Jaffa, Israel. In his studio, each dress is made from A to Z. It is also a space where customers are welcomed and receive comprehensive care all under one roof, and an intimate and personal degree of attention is given to each and every patron. The customer care is meticulous and pleasant, taking every minute detail under consideration, to create a garment in perfect harmony with the wearer's body and personality.
THE VISION :
A number of distinct components define Bellaish's design principals. First and foremost are the quality materials that are all made of natural fibers: silk, cotton, and linen. He uses antique laces that undergo various treatments and manipulations that harmoniously unite them with the gown into a wholly unified piece.
Vivi Bellaish's patterns are unique and distinct: bias cut, airy silhouettes that sway from the body and flutter, the use of a generous amount of chiffon in each dress, and a precise patchwork that artistically unifies lace and silk.
THE HISTORY :
Vivi Bellaish graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in 1996, after which he participated in the Mittelmoda International Competition in Italy and won first place. From there he went on to serve as the head designer at the fashion house Roberto Cavalli until 2000 (the years in which Cavalli's line came to international attention).
In 2000, in partnership with Les Copains, Vivi opened a fashion brand bearing his name, and created a pret-a-porte line which was shown in the Milan fashion week and was critiacally acclaimed and sold in world-renowned boutiques. In 2006 he returned to Israel and in 2009 began designing wedding and evening dresses.
